Seamlessly perfect smiles
You may already know that a veneer is a thin covering over another surface. In dentistry, a veneer is a wafer-thin layer of strong porcelain that convincingly substitutes for natural tooth enamel. When bonded to your teeth, veneers can create a natural-looking, beautiful new surface. That’s because dental porcelain, like natural tooth enamel, is translucent and tough. But it doesn’t stain like tooth enamel does
What makes a smile beautiful? That’s a complex question, but some qualities of a lovely smile are immediately identifiable: good tooth color, shape and alignment are a few of the most important ones. If your teeth could use improvement in any of these categories, porcelain veneers could be just what you’re looking for.
Veneers can serve multiple purposes, including:
On your first visit, we will initially remove a small amount of your tooth enamel to ensure your veneers will fit snugly. Then, we will make an impression of your teeth to send to a dental laboratory so they can create a custom set of veneers for you. We may provide you with temporary veneers, depending on your dental needs. During your secondary visit, we will then check the fitting of the veneers. If they fit over your natural teeth comfortably and well, we will clean your teeth and add a cement adhesive to the veneers to permanently attach them over the teeth.
Veneers offer a less intrusive solution compared to crowns or braces, providing the illusion of perfectly healthy and aligned teeth without extensive dental work or frequent adjustments. Crafted in dental laboratories, veneers are high-tech cosmetic devices that offer the same strength and protection as natural tooth enamel, ensuring resilience and durability
Maintenance is straightforward, mirroring the care required for natural teeth, including regular brushing and flossing. Although they may eventually need replacement, with proper care, veneers can last for a very long time, making them a long-lasting solution for a flawless smile.
