Custom & Comfortable
Dentures are custom-made devices used to replace full or partial sets of teeth; they allow you to comfortably speak and eat after losing multiple teeth. There are different types of dentures that are offered, including full, implant-retained, and fixed partial dentures:
Dentures may become necessary if you have lost all of your natural teeth. This can occur over time, either from instances of tooth decay, injury, or otherwise. Dentures not only restore your smile, they also provide structure to your facial muscles and jaw that can be affected by the loss of many teeth. Dentures also help you chew and speak normally again.
First, we will remove your remaining teeth to make room for the dentures to fit. Later, after your gums have fully healed, we will then schedule a second appointment in which we will create a mold using impressions of your teeth. We will then send these molds to a dental laboratory that will create a customized set of dentures for you. On your next visit with us, we will perform a denture fitting to ensure the new dentures fit properly and are comfortable for you.
Dentures are designed to restore the function of your teeth. They enable proper chewing, which is crucial for digestion and overall health. Additionally, dentures can improve speech and prevent the facial sagging that often occurs with tooth loss, supporting your facial muscles for a more youthful appearance.
Modern dentures are crafted with comfort and aesthetics in mind, closely mimicking the natural appearance of your gums and teeth. They are custom-made to fit snugly, reducing discomfort and providing the confidence to smile without hesitation. With today's technology, dentures offer a fit that feels more natural and requires less adjustment time.
